“Thank you Jeni for the most wonderful childbirth experience! I was 37 weeks pregnant and received news from my doctor that due to a low platelet count, there was a high chance I would have to be induced and that (with my levels as they stood), I would not be able to receive an epidural. To that date, my only birth plan was to have an epidural. How else is someone supposed to endure the pain of childbirth? I was terrified at the thought of an induction without anesthesia! A friend referred me to Jeni, who immediately got back to me and we set up a time to meet. Jeni was so calming and reassuring from the second we met. She is kind, patient and very knowledgeable. She did not push a particular birth plan on me and instead, assured me that she would support me regardless of the birth plan we chose (i.e. natural, medicated, or cesarean.) We proceeded with the induction a week later and even though my platelets were back up and the hospital allowed me to get the epidural, I opted against getting it because of how much support I felt from Jeni! The birth was beautiful and unforgettable. I never thought I would ever say that about childbirth. I thank Jeni from the bottom of my heart for all of her help. I know that I could not have done it without her.”
Kassandra SchillingFebruary 1, 2024Words can't explain how I feel about this group! Jeni and Karina are the best!! We hired Jeni to be our doula and she was such a HUGE help in pregnancy, labor, delivery and in postpartum. This was my first birth so I was feeling a little lost, especially with the amount of information out there, and it was becoming overwhelming. Jeni guided me and helped us develop our birth plan, and made sure our birth wishes were followed. On delivery day, one of her other clients went into labor at the same time, so she brought Karina with her so neither of us moms would be alone. Karina was amazing and did wonders for me when dealing with pain management. She brought oils to massage my lower back during contractions, which helped so much!! She also knows so much about the medical side and I learned a lot from her. They both were there for me 100% and helped me stay present during the birth of our son (and an hour after). They also helped guide my husband and taught him things to do to help him counter my pain and be a part of the process, which was very important to us. Jeni and Karina both are great at what they do and are so caring. They both followed up with me postpartum to see how we were doing, which I did not expect. It really meant a lot. We are so thankful we hired The Doula Platinum Collection for our son's birth!

Jeni is an amazing support in the months leading up to birth, but she really shines when it comes time for the birth itself. She is supportive, attentive, intuitive, calm, and kind. Her good natured calmness has been earned through years of experience and many, many births. She is friendly with all hospital staff and it’s because she is a genuine joy to have on the birthing team. I definitely breathed a sigh of relief when Jeni showed up, and when she did she immediately began working her TDPC magic for creating the best experience possible. TDPC is wonderful and I would recommend them highly to anyone giving birth and considering a doula. Thanks Jeni!!
Jenna WittboldJanuary 19, 2024We did not fully understand all that a night nurse entailed but everyone told us this was essential! We were blessed with twin daughters and having our night nurse, Shaneke, has been the greatest gift and blessing for our family! She was extremely communicative, personable, flexible, hands on, made suggestions / gave advice (being new parents it allowed a cushion of comfort knowing we were being guided with all the ‘new things’ as they arose!), compassionate, nurturing and caring. She would arrive and jump in feeding the girls, rocking and putting to bed for us the nights she was there so that as soon as she arrived, my husband and I could go straight to bed. We never had a worry in the world when she was here and we knew our girls were in the best hands / being monitored constantly throughout the night which provided us such ease and peace of mind. This was the BEST investment and BEST gift we could have given ourselves! Our only regret is not having had her every night with us. Thank you for loving our babies as we do and for being a lifesaver in such a new territory of the unknown! We can’t wait for our next baby and to have Shaneke back! We love you!!! Top notch and second to none - the best of the best!

Debi helped us out most nights and she is the BEST. Cortney ColangeloNovember 12, 2023I could not recommend hiring the Doula Platinum Collective more. I worked with Jeni throughout my pregnancy and had her with me for my labor and delivery and I can honestly say it was the most healing thing I have ever experienced. I did not have a doula with my first and it was all around a very stressful and traumatic experience, both my birth and the first three months postpartum. This time around Jeni helped me to trust my own body and let go of my previous experience. She was the most calming figure I could have asked for in a time that otherwise would have been extremely triggering for me. I don’t know what I would have done with out Jeni by my side but I do know that my delivery would not have been as calm and stress free….(never thought I’d say this but I actually enjoyed giving birth LOL). Jeni also had amazing recommendations and works hand in hand with some pretty great resources such as Pre/postnatal chiropractors, therapist, psychiatrist, lactation consultants, night nurses, birthing classes etc…you name it. Not only was she the support that I needed but she also made a world of difference in my husband’s experience, as the first time was equally hard on him as it was on me! Even if it’s not your first baby and you’ve never used a doula before I promise you Jeni and her doulas are worth the experience!!

After our OBGYN recommended their services, we partnered with Jeni and her team for labor/delivery and postpartum overnight care. And we are so incredibly grateful we did! Jeni is one of the most warm, kind, and considerate individuals we've ever met. From our very first consultation call, we knew we were in excellent hands. When it came to labor and delivery, we were fortunate to have Karina as our birthing doula. To put it simply, Karina is a labor and delivery expert. As first-time parents, we were so overwhelmed by the whole journey, but Karina was knowledgeable, patient, and extremely responsive to our seemingly never-ending questions. Leading up to the delivery, Karina was consistently available to answer our questions, talk through our birthing wishes, and help us prepare for what to expect on the big day. When it was time to welcome our little girl into the world, it felt like we had a true expert right by our side. Karina was incredibly helpful during my induction and when I started pushing. She helped me stay calm, guided me into positions that reduced the pain, and explained each step of the process so I knew exactly what was going on with my care. Throughout the entire experience, Karina provided unwavering support, and by the end of it, she felt like a part of our family. Even after delivery, Karina assisted with my postpartum care and remained available to address all our questions. We were paired with Sherene for overnight postpartum care, and she was outstanding in her gentle and attentive care for our baby girl. Her support allowed my husband and me to catch up on much-needed rest as we adapted to life with a newborn. Sherene readily assisted with the care of our little one and offered valuable guidance on topics such as breastfeeding, managing wake windows, and soothing our daughter. In short, we're profoundly grateful we found Jeni and her team at the Doula Platinum Collective. Jeni is so amazing to work with and her level of professionalism and communication skills puts any mother at ease immediately. My family and I used the night nanny service and was so impressed with how knowledgeable and warm her team was. We knew our newborn was receiving top notch care which made those first few months so much more comfortable. Would HIGHLY recommend!
